How To Finally Start Drinking More Water

I have always been terrible at drinking water. I used to be the type of person that would look at the clock and realize that it was 1 pm and I still hadn't drank a single drop. My skin was terrible, I used to get water infections pretty often and I was struggling to lose weight. I had tried so many times to drink more but I could never remember and had nothing in place to hold myself accountable. So here is how to finally start drinking more water. 

The one and only thing that worked for me was this super effective water bottle by HydrateM8 that tracks your intake of water. 2. I Am Losing Weight Easier

I was stuck on a plateau at one point during my healthy eating and I just couldn't seem to lose any more weight. That is until I started drinking more water again. I also found that because I was filling up on the water I was no longer getting as hungry as often. It suppressed my appetite significantly. There were actually times when I felt full up because of how much I had drank, but not in an uncomfortable way. This meant that I wasn't eating as much, especially snacking.

I never normally drink anything other than water. I'm not into sugary drinks, alcohol or hot drinks. 3. I Feel Better and More Refreshed

To be honest I was fully expecting to drink a lot of water one day and then wake up the next day feeling like a new person. This didn’t happen. I have however noticed that over time I do feel more revive and clearheaded. It can be sometimes hard to feel because it is slight and it is gradual. But on one day where I forgot to drink anywhere near as much as I have been, I noticed the shift in my body. That used to happen to me a lot and for the longest time I thought it was normal and I didn't associate it with me not drinking enough water.  Ever since I have been vigilant about drinking though, it has not happened once. Waking up in the morning is a much better experience, I wake up feeling more refreshed and ready to go. 

Now, when I first started I was peeing a lot. I mean like every 45 minutes. I was thinking, "I can't live like this!", I honestly thought that I was going to pee this often forever as long as I continued drinking this much. But after a while, my body got used to it. I am peeing more often than was normal for me - that is a given - but not a ridiculous amount. It kind of feels good though because I am aware of my body flushing out the bad stuff and allowing more goodness in. 

I am loving how drinking more water is making me feel and the good it is doing for my body. I am definitely going to keep it up and continue.
